Previously Shelta had thought that their type of product wouldn't be good for Walmart Marketplace at the moment, but the integration with Shopify changed a lot of things. Tom explained that you can still have the greatest website on the planet. "However getting your customers to shop on that website is very expensive. Your products should be available to customers via as many sales channels possible. Customers stick with one platform. You need to be active on many platforms, because we want Walmart customers to see our product." This partnership between Walmart Marketplace and Shopify made it possible.
Tom said that integrating with Walmart was a great experience. "We didn’t really need to get much help. One year ago we announced a new partnership between Shopify and the e-commerce shopping platform Shopify. This will allow more than one million Shopify sellers apply to be able to sell on Walmart Marketplace. We will have an opportunity for Shopify sellers to reach over 120 million visitors per month on Walmart.com. Customers can also shop a wider range of products.
The addition of the Marketplace integration app for Shopify has been a tremendous success. We have added thousands of Shopify sellers onto the Walmart Marketplace platform since the announcement. This is far more than our initial goal to add 1,200 Shopify sellers before 2020. We couldn't have chosen a better date for the launch of our partnership. As many brick-and–mortar shops began to adjust their operations to accommodate online commerce, Walmart Marketplace App for Shopify was an ideal tool. It helped them quickly set up and scale.

Shopify announced our partnership, and released the first version Walmart Marketplace for Shopify. We've since been working on a variety of updates, which aim to make the Seller experience better, improve functionality, and resolve any problems that may arise. These updates are often based upon feedback from Shopify sellers. We hope to continue growing this relationship in the future.
Bulk Editor has been one of Shopify's top features and most requested.
